If it is your first time you make a bid in the auction, you will need to register your details on pigeon-bay.co.uk.
After you have registered an email will be sent to your email account automatically to activate your pigeon bay account. All you have to is login as a user to start bidding.
The price to pay is the price you bid; there is NO extra commission charge on the highest bids.
- In order to participate in pigeon-bay auctions you must be over 18 years old and be able to form a legally binding contract. If you do not qualify under these Terms and Conditions please do not participate in pigeon-bay auctions. We reserve the right to refuse your participation in pigeon-bay auctions if we find that you are participating in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
- All bids entered on the web site will be considered full and final and may not be cancelled...
- You may submit further higher bids
- If the auction is set to close at 1900 hrs for example and there is a bid in the last 15 minutes of the closing time. The auction will continue until 19h15. If there is another bid between 19h00 – 19h15 the auction will end at 19h30...and so on until no further bids are received.
- We will notify the winner within 3 working days of the end of the auction cycle. We reserve the right to publicise successful bids.
- We will make the results of the auction available from the results page of the web site within 48 hours of the auction close.
- We reserve the right absolute to withdraw items from our online brochure and/or to substitute alternative items and to increase the number of items available in each Lot and/or amend the descriptions at any time.
- Bids will not be accepted unless they are higher than the current highest bid.
- Pigeon-bay reserves the right to close an auction early or to extend it at any time and at its discretion. An auction may be cancelled or delayed because of, amongst other things, technical difficulties. If an auction is cancelled for any reason and subsequently re-activated, all previous bids will lapse and bidding will recommence. For the avoidance of doubt in the event that successful bids are received within the last 5 minutes of an auction closing the close date of the auction will be automatically extended by a further 5 minutes to allow an unsuccessful bidder to re-bid.
- If there is a dispute between you and another bidder, pigeon-bay is under no obligation to become involved in such dispute. You hereby release pigeon-bay, its officers, employees and agents and the auction lot providers from any claims, demands or damages arising out of or in connection with any such disputes and/or this web site.
- If you are declared a winning bidder in respect of any specific item, we shall notify you via the contact details you have provided.
- The winning bidder will be responsible for payment of all shipping expenses. Pigeon-bay may elect to arrange shipping but you are responsible for payment of the shipping expenses.
- Unless otherwise agreed payment for winning bids must be made by cheque, PAYPAL, bankers draft or bank transfers.
- We make no warranty concerning the quality, availability or fitness for purpose of any items listed or shown on our auction site.
- In no event shall pigeonbay.co.uk be liable for any indirect losses incurred of suffered by you arising (including negligence).
